A thought for this weekend! God gave us the freedom to chose Him or not. The price of sin was far to high for mankind. So God gave His only begotten Son, to pay the price of mankind's sins for our freedom to chose Him. This weekend we celebrate Independence Day. But our independence wasn't free either! Many lives were given. So while you are having family over for the weekend to celebrate, please take a moment of silence for those who gave all for our freedom and for those who are still serving our country today!
