"When [there were] no depths, I was brought forth; when [there were] no fountains abounding with water. Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth: While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world. When he prepared the heavens, I [was] there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:" (Proverbs 8:24-27 KJV)

Power of PrayerIf I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear [me]:
(Psalms 66:18 KJV)
Do you understand what a privilege it is to pray? In Matthew 6:9-13, Jesus taught us the manner in which we should pray.
When Jesus is in our hearts, He brings our prayers to the Father. But when we try to hide sins from Him, our prayers are not heard. Prayers are powerless while darkness hides in the heart.
If you’re holding on to a sin, confess it today and ask Jesus for forgiveness. Then let your prayers be of thankfulness that Jesus came and died for us all that we may have salvation as well as the privilege to speak with God the Father through prayer.
The Lord's Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power,
and the glory,
for ever and ever.
Amen.
