01-06-2012 Family and friends are asking all our prayer warriors to keep Elaine Spotts, age 23, and her husband in your daily thoughts and prayers. Elaine is going to be stationed in Bagram, Afghanistan serving her country as an OR Tech for the next four months. Please pray the Lord to keep Elaine and all those serving with her safely under the Shadow of His Wings! Amen 01-01-2012 Praise the Lord for answered prayers! Back in August, Rita Long underwent surgery to remove a mass from her ovaries on the right side. She was then placed on a nine weeks of chemo to insure no cancer cells are left. On November 7th, Rita finished up her treatments and the doctors believe all the cancer cells are gone! Rita will now go through testing over the next year to be sure no cancer cells have returned. Please keep Rita and Jeff in your prayers. Give Praise and Glory to the Lord for answering prayers of healing for Rita....AMEN! 01-01-2012 Prayers are needed for Duane and Linda of NY. Duane has been diagnosed with "esophageal cancer". His doctor found a tumor in Duane's esophagus and there is some involvement with lymph nodes in the close area of the tumor. Duane has started radiation therapy several times a week and one day a week he will be given chemotherapy for approximately six weeks at Roswell Cancer Treatment Institute. After these treatments, more testing will be done to determine if the tumor and involved cells are ready fro the next step? The major surgery to remove the tumor and any lymph nodes that have been infected. Please pray for the Lord to give Duane's doctors the wisdom and knowledge to cure him of this cancer. Please also ask the Lord to give Linda strength and as they seek His love and healing for Duane. 01-01-2012 Prayers have been requested for John Comstock of the Mifflinville, Pa area. John has been fighting lung cancer and has undergone many treatments. He is now being given care by Home Health and Hospice Services at his home. John has been having trouble with eating and drinking any fluids from the aggressive fight on the cancer cells he needed. Please pray the Lord's peace be with him as he tries to recover from his most recent round of treatments. In times like this, our family and friends seek Gods wisdom and look for better understanding of what they can do to help a loved one.
