The Word Jeremiah 10:6-7 No one is like you, O LORD; you are great, and your name is mighty in power. Who should not revere you, O King of the nations? This is your due. Among all the wise men of the nations and in all their kingdoms, there is no one like you. NIV A Thought We can be grateful that there is no other person or god like the Lord Our God. There is no one else that has His power and is as great as Him. We don’t have to consider that maybe He has the power to calm the winds, to heal an illness, to complete His promises. We KNOW that He has the power! In our hearts, we KNOW He has the power. At the point that we have to work to BELIEVE He will put His power into action to carry out His promises that we need in our life, we falter, we worry, we doubt, we are afraid, we talk about all the possibilities that could go wrong, and we beg as we pray for Him to help us. God wants us to BELIEVE that He is using His power during the good times so that we have experience to BELIEVE when a bad time comes upon us. Isn’t that opposite from what we usually do?
